Etowah Youth Soccer was founded in 1972 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to offering all levels of play for youth in North East Alabama. Etowah Youth Soccer and RUSH soccer partnered in Spring 2015. Etowah Youth Soccer was looking to expand its player development and opportunites for its competitive players. The competitive division of EYSA has adopted the Rush name and The Rush Way. By joining Rush, EYSA became the 37th club in the United States along with 27 International clubs.

EYSA/Alabama Rush will now be able to offer developmental (recreational), advanced and competitive, Rush select level, and many other programs for players, coaches, and parents with a goverance of a worldwide club and branding. 

The potential for opportunities with Rush is enormous: a minor league system with a professional team, a national coach and player development network, a sharing of intellectual property rights, and a monumental membership base. In addition, we can achieve economies of scale in multiple ways such as purchasing bulk uniforms and spreading advertising and coaching education over a greater range of markets. We can also exploit it by presenting business opportunities for substantial marketing impressions through corporate sponsorship agreements.
